I also designed a number of hypothetical scenarios like the Germans invading the South Wales coast in 1940 (which although it seems unlikely in retrospect, was considered a real threat judging by the number of bunkers, pillboxes and other fortifications that were built here, many of which still exist). I converted a number of SL scenarios to SP and they were great fun to play. One the the things I liked the most about SP was its easy to use scenario editor, especially since the scale of the game was the nearest thing to Squad Leader (50m per compared to SL's 40m). BA is much more modest in its scope but is easy to pick up. SPWW2 has a massive number of units & nationalities covering the pre-war years as well as the whole of the Second World War. Somebody really needs to do a modern version of it, in the same way that PC brought PG back to life (hint, hint). While that sort of thing has the grogs drooling, it's not really necessary to go into that much detail for normal humans.ДЄnd sadly, while it's great to be able to play SP in 2560x1080 resolution now, the dated 16 bit graphics and ancient user interface are a pain compared to modern games. I think the main way that SP is more detailed is in the vast numbers of nationalities and unit types available, like a dozen different variants of the Panzer IV for example. I playtested SP:WAW too and did some scenarios for it, maybe I know you by a different name? (or you me?). Same game, but one is going to be more in it's way. It's like comparing Squad Leader and Advanced Squad Leader. I would hesitate to say BA is less detailed.
